Final Fantasy XIV (FFXIV) | 2026 Heavensturn Event Overview and Rewards
With a day into the new year in the books, let’s kick our adventure in Eorzea off with a bang by diving into the 2026 Heavensturn event. This year we got a 2-quest storyline that leads our warrior of light in a quick 20-minute or so loop around the Limsa Lominsa city-state and their surrounding areas. In between meeting new NPC’s and showing off our new companion friend we get soaked in an uplifting narrative that could energize even the sourest apple about the upcoming new year. Let’s dive into a spoiler-free event overview and reward showcase of this years festivities.
The Quest.
To begin your journey, travel to (X:11.15, Y:13.9) at the Limsa Lominsa Upper Decks and speak to the NPC Uma Bugyo to start the quest titled Seize The Neigh. Your journey at a high-level will revolve around your warrior of light escorting your small unicorn pal around the city-state to spread the word about the Heavensturn festivities this year.
You need to be at least a level 15 in order to complete this questline.
The Rewards.
Along your 2-quest journey, you and your Uma-no-unicolt companion will travel around the Lominsa city-state and their surrounding areas spreading the word about this years festivities. Upon completion of the quests you will receive an Uma-no-unicolt minion as a reward to add to your collection!
Additionally, when you visit the Far Eastern Merchant there are 3 items up for sale in exchange for your gil. You have the:
- Gilded Screen | 6,000 gil
- Zoni | 16 gil
- Magicked Prism (Advent Cakes) | 19 gil
Optional Activities.
Outside of the rewards and 2-quest storyline, you can also visit the Far Eastern Omikujishi to draw a lot for a fortune for 100 gil.
